Two punches were enough to cause the death of Georges Herve Pape. The tragedy happened during a marital dispute, Sunday evening June 25, in Floréal. The victim, a 64-year-old father, argued with his wife for reasons that remain to be determined when his son Aldo intervened to defend the latter. This is what emerges from the first indications of the police investigation.
According to our cross-references, Aldo Pape, 34, would have punched his father twice while he intervened in a dispute between his parents. Georges Hervé Pape did not survive his injuries. He made his last breath in the early hours on Monday. Aldo’s mother also received care at the hospital.
Aldo Pape was detained after appearing before the Lease and Remand Court on Monday.
An autopsy is underway at the morgue of the Victoria Hospital, Candos, to determine the cause of the 60-year-old’s death. The police investigation is continuing.
